History of Camden School for Girls Frances Mary Buss is recognised as a pioneer in girls’ education and in teacher training. Her pupils were amongst the first girls to take public examinations and to go to university, and many went on to become pioneers themselves. Her school became the model for girls’ schools
The first stage in the admissions process is to register for the banding assessment (opens 1 July 2024). Music applicants should follow the instructions at the end of the banding assessment registration. The deadline for online registration is Tuesday 24 September 2024.
Key Stage 3 – Years 7, 8 and 9. The KS3 curriculum is characterised by its breath and variety. A distinctive part of our provision is the study of Classics and Latin which allows students an opportunity to further build on cultural capital, critical thinking skills and higher tier literacy.
