Criminal Minds is an American police procedural drama television series that premiered on CBS on September 22, 2005. The series follows a team of profilers from the FBI's Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) based in Quantico, Virginia. The BAU is part of the FBI National Center for the Analysis of Violent Crime.
A planned true-crime docuseries, titled The Real Criminal Minds was also ordered by Paramount+. Three television series make up the Criminal Minds franchise: Criminal Minds, Suspect Behavior, and Beyond Borders. All series in total amount to 379 episodes across 20 seasons of television.
S1.E21 ∙ Secrets and Lies. The BAU team investigates a CIA counter-terrorism unit to identify a traitor who had a fellow agent murdered and who is trying to find and kill the unit's informant, a Saudi woman with two children who are in hiding.
