Mar 22, 2024 · Joana Vicente is stepping down as the CEO of the Sundance Institute, the nonprofit behind the annual Sundance Film Festival, after two and a half years.
Joana Vicente is the CEO of The Sundance Institute, starting November 1, 2021, leaving her charge as Executive Director and Co-Head of the Toronto International Film Festival. She previously served as the Executive Director of the Independent Filmmaker Project and the Made in NY Media Center by IFP.
