   Dec 23, 2023 · I have finally found the culprit - LG itself. I have decided to reset it to factory defaults (firmware 3.20.17) and made the following changes: for each picture mode (SDR, HDR, DV) I have enabled Real Cinema (ON) and turned off TrueMotion (OFF) under Advanced Picture settings > clarity.

   What's new about lip syncing?

   • Nothing new about lip syncing has been said, it's just fan war material. I just don't understand what's so bad about being concerned for idol's health and voices. Vocal damage is no joke. Many American singers have gotten nodules/surgery on their voices, you don't see it much in Kpop thanks to lip syncing.

   How do I stop a Marantz from lip sync?

   • Thank you. If you’re still getting lip sync issues with match frame rate enabled after that, the ultimate stop to out of sync audio would be to connect Apple TV to TV directly and and on the receiver’s end (ie Marantz) press “TV Audio” from the remote. That will leave only audio processing on the Marantz with video to be processed on AppleTV + TV.
