We are the contemplative branch of the Francisan Family founded by St. Clare of Assisi in 1212. We share our life of prayer with all of you. As Poor Clares, we profess the usual religious vows of poverty, chastity and obedience, plus the vow of enclosure.

Our Chapel is the heart of the monastery. Here the community gathers throughout the day to pray for the needs of the church and the world. All are welcome to join us for mass, the celebration of the liturgy of the hours and for adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.
The monastery grounds are available as a peaceful place to pray and walk, with outside Stations of the Cross, the Canticle of Creation and a Memorial Garden. The Sisters look forward to Aug.15, when they will welcome visitors and guests back to their back into their main chapel for Mass and prayers.

Nov 23, 2023 · To the sounds of chanting from a number of Buddhist traditions, including Tibetan, Sri Lankan, and Thai schools of Buddhism, along with a Mongolian throat singer, practitioners welcomed the newly expanded Gaden Samdrupling Buddhist Monastery in Colerain Township, northwest of Cincinnati, Ohio.
