  3. Shadowland Theatre was founded in 1983 on Toronto Island by a collective of visual and theatre artists. Shadowland now has a studio in the Parkdale neighbourhood of Toronto. We continue to work on Toronto Island, and in collaboration with local community organizations throughout the GTA, across Ontario and beyond.

  4. Shadowland Theatre works with communities to unearth their distinctive histories, create new stories and celebrate special events. We animate streets, parks, and public spaces with our bold design sensibility and raucous theatricality.

  7. Sunday Matinee: 2pm. Each show’s run begins with two “preview” performances: a Friday night performance and a special Saturday matinee. Each show’s “Opening Night” is the first Saturday evening.
