Tonbridge Grammar School is a state grammar school in Tonbridge, Kent, United Kingdom. The school was established in 1905 at the Technical Institute in Avebury Avenue Tonbridge, having only 19 enrolled students. [1]

As an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School, we blend the best of a traditional curriculum with the principles and ethos of the IB Organisation.
Tonbridge Grammar School is a highly successful selective academy with a track record of innovation and excellent examination results. We are an IBO World School and are consistently amongst the top-performing UK state-schools in the IB Diploma programme, with average points scores well above national and international averages.

Tonbridge Grammar School is an IBO World School. In Years 7-9 students study the IB Middle Years Programme. The Transition Curriculum in Years 10 & 11 prepares students for their GCSE examinations before students in the Sixth Form return to studying the IB Diploma.
Tonbridge Grammar School is a selective academy. It has about 1,130 girls aged between 11 and 18. In October 2019 the school was rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted. Particular strengths include Attainment, Progress, Disadvantaged pupils and Attendance. Relative weaknesses include Finances and Representation.
