Jun 12, 2017 · Here are the two scenarios i would use this for: 1, run my eurorack setup and synths through this, give it a rough mixing then record the mixed tracks in cubase. Also maybe run the tracks from cubase through the tascam for mixing than record it back as the premaster. 2, use it as a control surface for cubase.
Oct 4, 2012 · Here's what's happening....my DM4800 is used as a live mixer in a church. The console changes things to whatever it wants, with NO commands from me. Example....I take the Low EQ for channel 1 (KICK) and brint it to 55Hz...I boost it to 5 db............a few seconds later....the dial goes to -18db !
Jun 5, 2017 · DM-3200/DM-4800 use the MCU protocol so it was only designed for basic DAW control. There is capability for MIDI control using the DM-3200/DM-4800 faders. Go fish around the Tascam forums for more info. There are a few YouTube videos that show how to do the MIDI mapping.
Feb 7, 2007 · The main screens have their own dedicated button, and then at the bottom of those screens are up to four "soft" buttons to get to the related screens. If you are worried about endless menus you needn't be, there certainly isn't endless scrolling or deep menus or anything of that kind.
The DM-4800 provides 24 groups/busses, 12 aux-sends, and 16 assignable inserts (in addition to the channel inserts on rear panel). The mixer incorporates digital effects, including a digital reverb by TC Works. External effects can be looped through the assignable analog sends and returns (then assigned to channels).
