Apr 8, 2024 · How can an external multi-effect processor be routed to 2 channels in the DM-4800, where the effect component is adjustable? Is it possible with the aux send and return connections? It works fine with the internal effects, but with external effects I just don't know what to set in the DM.
The DM-4800 provides 24 groups/busses, 12 aux-sends, and 16 assignable inserts (in addition to the channel inserts on rear panel). The mixer incorporates digital effects, including a digital reverb by TC Works. External effects can be looped through the assignable analog sends and returns (then assigned to channels).
The mixer features 48-channels and 16-returns for a total of 64-channels at mix-down. 24 input channels feature XLR microphone, balanced 1/4" phone line and analog inserts for routing to external processors.
