5 days ago · Tascam 488 MkII (Not working) Looking for advice Hello, I purchased a tascam 488 MkII some month ago, and it doesn't work at all, when I plug it it makes some noises but that's all, I think the problem may be the trans power (i.e pic 2) but I'm not sure, so I ask y'all if I'm correct or not and if so what I could do like repair or replace it, and how much that would cost etc..
6 days ago · I’ve got a Tascam 644, that’s actually sort of working. I have loads of analog tracks on various cassettes, all stamped with Tascams own sync on track 4. (FSK, MC…. or whatever) I also have an old (midi interface) Steinberg SMP 24, firmware 1,6, that also is indeed working. It is supposed to transfer the sync code to the DAW.
