Jun 12, 2017 · The converters in the Tascam are extremely good by the way and you can use it as your main sound card but you need the IO box expansion thingy. The Midas desk only has 8 faders to control the daw, you can't use all of them.

The DM-4800 provides 24 groups/busses, 12 aux-sends, and 16 assignable inserts (in addition to the channel inserts on rear panel).
