  4. Jun 4, 2010 · The DM4800 has the FAT channel. Wich means dedicated knobs for EQ and aux sends. The DM3200 is, for the new user, somewhat more fiddly. If you have a small room and you prefer two racks left & right. A DM3200 might be appropriate. But if you have the room & money I'd get the DM4800. The DM4800 allso has connections for two sets of monitors.

  8. Apr 20, 2011 · While they should both work, the DM3200 is really a POS and I wouldn't spend a dime on one (but as always, YMMV). The DM4800 may be much better ( I have no experience with it) but you would only get 32 of the available inputs to work in PT9.
