Goku Black (ゴクウブラック, Gokū Burakku), also known as Zamasu (ザマス, Zamasu), though usually referred to as Black (ブラック, Burakku), is an alternate incarnation of Zamasu and a former North Kai and Supreme Kai apprentice serving his former master Gowasu from the unaltered main timeline within Universe 10.
Zamasu is only able to do much of anything to Goku when he's distracted dealing with Black, which isn't really an indicator of Future Zamasu being at all stronger since we know from RoF that having your guard down makes you susceptible to damage even from extremely weak enemies
In his original future as Goku Black in the manga, Zamasu became far more powerful than before, beating Future Trunks numerous times, eventually to the point where he no longer had to use Super Saiyan.
