Dec 5, 2020 · Interesting fact: Paris' street layout was designed to allow easy canon fire so the military could control the city better during the next inevitable revolution. The French revolted a lot. Some say they're still revolting. As a side benefit, Paris is incredibly easy to navigate.

Sep 30, 2023 · You can easily get to nice airport for a few euros by public transport, straight to the terminal. In Paris, RER is taking you to Gare du Nord. Flight is the fastest option, because you need to get to Avignon from Nice first, it’s pretty slow, comparing to Avignon’s-Paris leg. Reply reply More replies.

I brought back touristy stuff like magnets and Eiffel tower keychains. I would say the things my fam and friends loved most were cookies and snacks I brought back from franprix 😅.
Nov 8, 2021 · Paris or France as a whole is really darker than what the media is trying to make you think of you who live in English-speaking countries. 13-year-old children who kill each other with knives, young people who kills a la Ak47 or I suppose you did not hear the 27 deaths in the space of 2 months in connection with drug trafficking in Marseille (3rd largest city in France after Lyon and Paris).
Life is less stressing than in Paris, weather is much nicer, renting / buying properties less expensive, good food and markets, culture, bar scene, sports and all. Go for Lyon!!
