Sep 19, 2023 · I will personally hunt you down. Nothing compares to homemade. One brilliant trick I got from Joshua was to paint the top of the baked pie with some of the caramel and bake it for several more minutes. It creates a smooth, sweet, lacquered top. Just gorgeous.
