We transport about 65% of U.S.-bound Canadian exports. We account for 40% of total U.S. crude oil imports. On any single day, Enbridge is the largest single conduit of oil into the U.S. We move about 85 separate commodities, including more than 10 types of refined products.
The Enbridge Pipeline System is an oil pipeline system which transports crude oil and dilbit from Canada to the United States. The system exceeds 5,000 kilometres (3,100 mi) in length including multiple paths.
The Enbridge Mainline is made up of eight pipelines in Canada and 12 pipelines in the U.S., amounting to 26,000 km of pipeline. There are 13 key terminals along the Mainline to facilitate receipts and deliveries on and off the system and manage flow rates.
The Enbridge Pipeline System is the world's longest crude oil and liquids pipeline system, with 27,564 km (17,127 mi) of active crude pipeline in both Canada and the United States. This pipeline network delivers 3 million barrels of oil per day.
