Norfolk County (/ ˈ n ɔːr f oʊ k /) is a rural single-tier municipality on the north shore of Lake Erie in Southwestern Ontario, Canada with a 2016 population of 67,490. Despite its name, it is no longer a county by definition, as all municipal services are handled by a single level of government.

Oct 24, 2012 · The City of Norfolk County is located 56 km southwest of Hamilton and 97 km southeast of London. Created as a county in 1792, it was named for Norfolk, England. Between 1815 and 1825 the capital of the London District was located in the Norfolk community of Vittoria.
