My story. The new immigrants. Dead Sea, Israel, early 1970s. (That’s my brother in the photo - my mom is pregnant with me). I was born in Israel one month after my parents escaped from the former Soviet Union. It was the 1970's, Cold War years. They were among the very first to make it to the Promised Land.

The Chumscrubber (German: Glück in kleinen Dosen) is a 2005 comedy-drama film, directed by Arie Posin, starring an ensemble cast led by Jamie Bell. The plot, written by Posin and Zac Stanford, focuses on the chain of events that follow the suicide of a teenage drug dealer in an idealistic but superficial town.
