Revenge of the Nora

Revenge of the Nora is a Main Quest in Horizon Zero Dawn. It’s easy to overlook while following the A Seeker at the Gates quest, so make sure you finish this before moving on all the way to Meridian.Revenge of the Nora

Mother’s Crown is on the way to the Red Echoes, so it’s recommended to complete part of A Seeker at the Gates on the way to the Red Echoes. Again, remember to hunt and gather on the way there to stock up on valuable resources for the mission ahead.
A cutscene will activate once you save at the campfire there. You can stick around a while afterward to hear an inspiring speech by Sona. Otherwise, move on to the camps and clear them so they can’t let their base of operations know the Nora are coming for revenge.
At first, there are three camps to clear. If you have a mount, get off of it before you get too close as to not alert your enemies. Set up a “home base” of sorts near your mount with Shock Wires, so if you get overrun you have a place to fall back to. Hopefully, you won’t have to, and also hopefully you’ll have the ability that lets you dismantle them to retrieve your materials. Also keep in mind the Corrupted Watchers may take three arrows, even to its weak point, from a hunter bow to go down.
The quest instructs you to dismantle the alarms, but they are surrounded by enemies, and getting to the alarm without first taking them can get very messy, very fast if anyone sees you. It’s much safer to take them out—stealthily—from afar. Equip a Sharpshot bow to do your sniping.
Sneak up on the enemies and snipe then one by one if you can, starting from the outside in so no one is alerted by the bodies. There are also Blaze Containers you can explode with fire arrows if you prefer. If you insist on going in bow-a-blazing, at least try to sneak as close to the alarm as possible, then run to it if anyone sees you in an attempt to deactivate it quickly. Then, your Nora comrades will assist in dispatching the camp.
Once you’re done with that camp, move onto the next, doing the same. Set up Shock Wires and try to snipe your enemies so you don’t get overrun if they notice you. Make sure to search the camps for loot when you're done, there are quite a few supply chests to be found.
The Metal Ring, the base of the killers, is nearby. Follow Varl to gain access to it, as you need him to help you up a ledge.
Once you’re in, you need to be sneaky as not to alert the entire camp. You’re looking for a view of the Blaze, and as you continue, Varl will instruct Aloy which enemies to take out.
Eventually, you’ll come across an open area with out-of-service Corrupters. You can see the Blaze cache, but you won’t be able to to shoot it from there. You must sneak past the enemies, get as close as possible, and shoot the opening with a fire arrow.
Go slowly, and pick off people with headshots if you think you can on the way without drawing attention to you. If you get caught too early, with too many of them, they will very easily take Aloy out. If too many do see you—that’s your cue to run like hell to the blaze and shoot it with a fire arrow.
Chaos will ensue with the entering Nora, and the more you were able to stealthily take out before, the less you’ll have to take out now.
You’ll also encounter a new machine, a Fire Bellowback. Use your Focus to reveal its weak points. Its body is strong to fire, but its gullet, cargo sac and blaze canister are weak to it.
If you shock the Bellowback first, it will reveal the blaze canister on its underbelly, giving you a chance to make it explode with a fire or tear blast arrow.
In this fight however, you have plenty of back-up. You can easily fall back behind your companions and snipe from there in relative safety.
When you’re back in control, you need to sneak your way through the camp to get a shot on the Blaze containers. Helpfully there’s a path down to the Blaze that, if you’re careful, you can sneak down until you can see the Blaze.
