Nov 23, 2021 · Jason Moore, bass player for the IBMA-winning bluegrass group Sideline, has passed away from a heart attack. He was 47. Moore was a founding member of Sideline. They released their latest full length album, Ups, Downs and No Name Towns, in September of 2021.

Nov 22, 2021 · Sideline played Saturday at Meadowgreen Appalachian Music Park in Clay City, Kentucky. After overnighting there, the band got ready to leave Sunday morning for a show in Ohio. Jason climbed the first step of the bus, then fell backwards in the throes of a heart attack.

Jason was instrumental in bringing Sideline to Mountain Home in 2017, and his warm, easygoing manner and passion for the music quickly made him and the band an integral part of our musical family.

Monday, November 22, 2021 – Jason Moore, bassist for Sideline, died on Sunday at 48. Moore also was part of Mountain Heart and the James King Band before becoming a Sideline member. Bluegrass Today reported that Sideline played Saturday at Meadowgreen Appalachian Music Park in Clay City, Ky.
