Best Buy canada is a separate entity from Best Buy (U.S.). Different system and everything so they wouldn't even be able to find your receipt. If you’re afraid you won’t be back in time, contact the store you bought it from before your return policy ends.

I've tried returning a toy that was bought in the US but it didn't come up in their system when it was scanned.
