Charles Milford Bergstresser (June 25, 1858 – September 20, 1923) was an American journalist and, with Charles Dow and Edward Jones, one of the founders of Dow Jones & Company at 15 Wall Street in 1882.
Charles Milford Bergstresser. Journalist. Co-founder of the Wall Street Journal newspaper and the Dow Jones & Company publishing firm. A member of Lafayette College's class of 1881, he worked briefly at John J. Kiernan's news agency. It was there that he met Charles H. Dow and Edward Jones.
