Being a Starbucks devotee at the t...
Phoenixhas quickly become one of my favorite coffee shops in downtown Cleveland, although, this hasn’t always been the case. I first visited about 5 or so years ago, when my mom gave me a gift card to Phoenix as a present for passing the CPA exam. To be honest, at that time I was turned off by their lack of “variety”, as I was accustomed to Starbuc...
Rising Staris another Cleveland coffee shop that has grown rapidly since opening it’s first café in 2012. Like Phoenix, Rising Star also has its own roastery in Ohio City and has five locations throughout the Cleveland area.

Which is why Betts was a surprising and nice find. Located next to the Kimpton Hotel, it's a decent sized restaurant that was pretty crowded at 7:30 pm. On a Sunday. The bar selection looked good, with a nice cocktail list. I had the Buffalo chicken sandwich. It was good but messy. The fries with it were really good. Thin cut and well seasoned.
