He is an artist, documentarian, writer, narrator extraordinaire. Period. In the theme park community at least, he’s probably considered to be the best historical documentarian of the bunch. He’s also very well known among us theme park nerds.
On the other we have the late Alex Laserenko, who remains highly respected by his peers to this day. Not only did he remain humble about his life, but now he's become a figure with a respected legacy all across the internet.
I've also found out that Lasarenko was on the cover of ART News, an art philanthropy magazine, presumably some time around 2015-2016. Sadly the image didn't get scraped for the internet archive, so it seems if someone can track down that cover, we could potentially have a second photo of him around (unless that is the one that's been circulating).
His tribute to Alex Lasarenko is equally touching. Instead of letting his legacy be solely defined as the man who wrote the Disney Channel theme, he decided to expose the viewers to his other music by using it throughout the video.
