  4. Hal McElroy and James "Jim" McElroy (born 6 April 1946) are Australian film and television producers. They are twin brothers. They are best known for three films they produced jointly in the 1970s, all directed by Peter Weir at the start of his career: The Cars That Ate Paris (1974), Picnic at Hanging Rock (1975), and The Last Wave (1977).
