Sep 5, 2023 · Regulation 304 under the Education Act states that school boards must designate three (3) PA days each school year that focus on provincial education priorities. School boards may also designate up to four additional PA days per school year.
Feb 21, 2024 · The calendar includes PA days for staff when “schools will be closed to students,” as well as school breaks and holidays. The first day of school for the 2024-2025 school year is proposed for Wednesday, Sept. 4, keeping in line with the Board’s decision last year to start school on the Wednesday, and not the day after Labour Day Monday.
