The Newfoundland and Labrador Board of Commissioners of Public Utilities advises that the list of issues to be considered in the 2022-2023 Petroleum Products Pricing Review has now been released and Phase I is concluded.
Effective 12:01 a.m. Friday, August 26, 2022, the changes to maximum prices are as follows: all types of gasoline motor fuel will decrease by up to 7.1 cents per litre (cpl); diesel motor fuel will increase by up to 7.9 cpl; furnace oil heating fuel will increase by 6.80 cpl; and. stove oil heating fuel will increase by up to 6.80 cpl.

September 8, 2022 the Board continues to monitor the daily benchmark prices for motor fuels and heating fuels using the prescribed sources set out in the Petroleum Products Regulations and will adjust maximum prices outside the scheduled adjustment if circumstances warrant.
Kalibrate will review the petroleum products refining markets and factors influencing prices. Kalibrate will complete a jurisdictional scan of Canadian markets and pricing. Board Discussion Document released. This document will set out background information and issues.
