Willard Herman Scott Jr. (March 7, 1934 – September 4, 2021) was an American weather presenter, radio and television personality, actor, narrator, clown, comedian, and author, whose broadcast career spanned 68 years, 65 years with the NBC broadcast network.
Sep 7, 2021 · According to The New York Times, Willard died on Sept. 4, 2021, at the age of 87. It was confirmed by his wife, Paris Keena Scott, that he passed at his farm in Delaplane, VA. He had worked for The Today Show for more than 40 years and he began his run with the broadcaster in 1980.
