5 days ago · In 2023, five Red Deer Polytechnic faculty and staff members and 15 RDP student volunteers engaged 2,500 youth, including 300 Indigenous youth, through the Red Hot Science program. In partnership with Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools, Indigenous Elders, leaders and organizations, the Polytechnic has also offered immersive Indigenous Land Camps as part of Actua funding.

Apr 18, 2024 · A Red Deer Polytechnic student died on campus, the post-secondary institution has confirmed in an email to students. This past Sunday, RCMP responded to a mental health call at RDP. Upon arrival, there was a small fire at the base of the green sculpture of RDP’s logo beside the front doors of the main campus.
