I have a $40 item that was bought from Best Buy in the US....asked the cashier if it would be possible to return it in Canada and she said "yeah no problem" (I'd bought a $10 service plan on an 8 GB mp3 player earlier and I know that that worked in Canada so didn't think there would be a problem).
I can go on and on, best buy simply doesn't price match an open box item they have in the store to another you see online. The only thing you can do is, return the one you already bought and get the one you saw online.
