The Hall of Fame desires to identify these outstanding individuals or groups ensuring that their contribution to Gary’s rich sport’s history is not forgotten.

The Northern Indiana Conference (NIC) is a high school athletic conference that was founded in 1927 and spanned from as far west as Hammond and Gary to South Bend/Mishawaka and Elkhart to the east and south to Plymouth. The 2020 Indiana Hoosiers football team represented Indiana University in the 2020 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Hoosiers played their home games at Memorial Stadium in Bloomington, Indiana , and competed as a member of the East Division of the Big Ten Conference .
