Goose Creek State Park campground is one of the newer state parks in North Carolina. The RV part of the park has a great layout with large sites. The park is very flat with full hookups and a large patio/picnic area. They also have cabins.

The quiet waters of Goose Creek offer canoeists the perfect opportunity to view nature from a different vantage point; visitors must bring their own canoes, as none are available for rent at the park. A state fishing license is required for fishing in the river and creeks and river. Common catch include largemouth bass, bluegill, and perch.

Goose Creek State Park offers two camping areas: a newly opened loop with RV campsites and cabins and a primitive tent campground located between Goose and Flatty creeks. The RV camping area has 22 sites that all have full hook-ups (electric, water and sewer). One site is wheelchair accessible.
