The school was given a new name to honor the memory of O.W. Dillon, who donated the land for the school’s original location, O.W. Dillon Memorial Elementary. Under the guidance of principal Ashley Walker, a new school building was planned to take the place of the original campus.
The New Elementary School for O.W Dillon Elementary provides learning facilities for approximately 500 students in grades pre-k through 6th. The plan’s layout is separated into three wings, each of which is anchored by a large programmatic function; administration, media center, and cafetorium.
