Our staff includes nurses, pharmacists and physicians highly trained in treating poisonings and drug overdoses.

Mar 20, 2023 · To mark National Poison Prevention Week, Health Canada is launching a new toll-free number, 1-844 POISON-X, or 1-844-764-7669, in collaboration with four Canadian poison centres. This new toll-free number will make it easier for people in Canada to access critical medical advice for poisonings.

Call 1-866-454-1212 for emergency treatment advice for people exposed to all kinds of poisons including: Drugs; Plants; Mushrooms; Pesticides; Snake and spider bites; and. Household cleaners and chemicals. This confidential service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, all year round.

If you have a possible poisoning emergency, call a poison centre (1-844-POISON-X or 1-844-764-7669) immediately. If the person is unconscious, not breathing, or having a seizure, call 911. In the case of a poisoning, a poison centre or your doctor can give you advice right away on what to do.
The Poison and Drug Information Service (PADIS) offers poison information, consultation and referral for anyone who may need advice after being exposed to poisons, chemicals or toxins.
