   Time to get a new guitar.and other shops were the same as the age of this guitar parts are no longer available. Long story short I brought the guitar to 12th Fret as a last resort. After a quick trouble shoot they found the problem and fixed it (no charge) I just had to pay for the set up which was very reasonable.
