Federico Álvarez ( Spanish pronunciation: [ˈfeðe]; born February 9, 1978) is a Uruguayan filmmaker. He is known for directing Evil Dead (2013) and Don't Breathe (2016), as well as his short film Ataque de pánico! (2009).
Alien: Romulus is a 2024 movie directed by Fede Alvarez, who also co-wrote the script with Rodo Sayagues and Dan O'Bannon. It follows a group of young space colonizers who encounter the xenomorphs in a derelict space station.
