If someone would email you that they are interested buying your item on Kijiji with PayPal payment, proceed with caution. These names contacted me became suspicious so I googled and have read same email that these people tried to pull with me.
Even know I bring up Paypal when first contacting them as to not waste their time, it is like they ignore it and assume I'll pay via e-transfer. I politely explain that I can only do Paypal because e-transfer is cash and has no buyer or seller protection.
Most sellers do not accept PayPal, i'm assuming buyers (scammers in this case) can open a case and chargeback (force refund the money and make a fake claim, usually "damage that wasn't disclosed"); leaving the seller without their item and their money.
