Nov 20, 2016 · During the summer of 2015 Toronto hosted the Pan Am and Parapan Am games which brought a host of athletes (6,132) from 41 countries to the city. During the time that the games were being played an organization called The Friends of the Pan Am Path organized an art relay that included art installations and cultural events across the city.

Feb 21, 2015 · Toronto is officially set to welcome thousands of athletes from across the Americas to the city for this summer’s Pan Am/Parapan Am Games. With less than half a year to go before the Toronto 2015 Games start, the athletes’ village is officially complete, with dignitaries and Toronto-area athletes on hand for an official ceremony Friday, Feb. 20.
The games were held from July 10 to 26, 2015 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada; preliminary rounds in certain events began on July 7, 2015. These were the third Pan American Games hosted by Canada, and the first in the province of Ontario. The Games were held at venues in Toronto and 17 other Golden Horseshoe communities. [ 1 ]
