5 days ago · 05-29-2024 at 09:06am. I would recommend the most current Audio Research phonostage you can find. SP8 would be great… or SP7 or SP6. For me the SP8 finally completely removed the phono stage from the equation and no longer held back my turntable.

So still about $1600 more than a pair of 126be on sale which is significant but it is really an amazing performer. The bass rolls off pretty early on the 226be and would probably be pretty flat even in a small room.

Delete. thanks, saw that. seems kind of vague and the site overall is a mess. its sounding as if they send their designs to designated different spots, most companies at the deep end of the pool tend to really show off their facilities when done all in house.
May 7, 2024 · Coda #8, Pass XA25, or Schiit Tyr to replace PS Audio M700. I recently upgraded my power amp from a Nakamichi PA7Aii to PS Audio M700 monoblocks. I honestly expected to flip the M700 pair quickly because I did not think they would be better than the PA7Aii. The M700s actually provide a wider and more detailed soundstage.
