Kensington Gardens is a not-for-profit, long-term care home located in the heart of Kensington Market. We offer 24-hour care, programs and services for the 350 residents and their families.
Kensington Gardens, once the private gardens of Kensington Palace, are among the Royal Parks of London. The gardens are shared by the City of Westminster and the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and sit immediately to the west of Hyde Park, in western central London known as the West End.
As you wander through the park, you’ll discover world-famous landmarks like the towering Albert Memorial and the iconic Italian Gardens. At the Diana Memorial Playground, little visitors can board a wooden pirate ship and set sail for adventure.

Kensington Gardens has something to inspire at every turn. For Victorian horticultural splendour, stroll through the 400m long South Flower Walk with its mixture of specimen trees and shrubs typical of the era. In shade and shelter the walk is punctuated with colour and scent throughout the year.
Kensington Gardens is a serene and beautiful spot. We enjoyed wandering through the gardens, with highlights including the stunning Italian Gardens, the Peter Pan statue, and the beautiful Kensington Palace. The park is less crowded than Hyde Park, making it a perfect place for a peaceful stroll.
We are proud of the fact that everyone who lives at Kensington Gardens enjoys the privacy of their own room. There are three room options available: basic room, semi-private room and private room. We have a nurse call-bell system installed in every room (at the bedside and in the bathroom).
Kensington Gardens is supported by doctors connected to the University Health Network who participate in education and research projects to improve long-term care delivery. Personal care. Personal Care Attendants (PCA) provide gentle and respectful personal care, to ensure each resident’s comfort and safety with the activities of daily life.
