May 24, 2004 · Night Heat was an action series about the professional and sometimes personal lives of police detectives as seen through the eyes of newspaper columnist Tom Kirkwood (Allan Royal). The show normally focused on two characters - Kevin O'Brien (Scott Hylands), the veteran cop who has done his share of duty and Frank Giambone (Jeff Wincott), the short-tempered, womanizing young partner.
