Dream Theater once again gathered to record their sixth studio album. They finally got their chance to release an album of more than 80 minutes with Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence . The first disc consisted of five tracks of 5 to 13 minutes in length, and the second disc was devoted entirely to the 42-minute title track, which is to date the longest song Dream Theater have written.
