Underworld: Evolution is a cinematic masterpiece and I will fight to the death to defend it. (I won't actually fight to the death to defend it, or even really try to defend it at all. Picking up where the blue-tinged, new millennium-gothic "Underworld" left off, Len Wiseman's "Underworld: Evolution" fills the screen with more of the same vampire versus werewolf action that drove the first film. The war between the supernatural beasts continues, mixing horror and action to entertaining effect.
