Ronny Cox was born on July 23, 1938 in Cloudcroft, New Mexico, USA, to Lounette and Bob P. Cox. He studied at Eastern New Mexico University and graduated in 1963. Talking about his love life, Cox met his wife Mary when he was in the seventh grade and she was in the fifth. The couple married in 1960 and had two kids.
