I loved this movie. I strongly believe it is probably Lars' best. I thought that Emily Watson's performance was insanely good; especially from someone who's debuting on the big screen!

Breaking the Waves Opinions. Lars is my all-time favorite director and I just watched Breaking the Waves for the first time and all I can say is I'm disappointed. I believe every one of his films is a masterpiece in its own right and this is no different, but I just felt like it didn't really fit with the rest of his filmography.
