Sadly John Cherry III passed but his son, John Cherry IV, is working with a documentary crew on a film The Importance of being Ernest. FYI every year the park where Ernest Goes to Camp was filmed does a big event on Jim's birthday with lots of activities, guests, and a screening of the movie.
