You could use the exploded view in the service manual. Can you take a close up picture of the wire that needs to be resoldered? Also if you want to cut your losses, what you asking?
I'm on Logic Pro 11, just bought last Friday, on an M3Pro macbook running Sonoma 14.5 - the interface is the Tascam US-4x4, which has 4 inputs and 4 outputs. Got a mic plugged into the XLR for Input 1.

Jun 26, 2024 · Take the output from the TASCAM via 3.5mm audio out into an XLR adapter and feed it back to a camera XLR input and feed it back as part of the audio stream via HDMI. There are many points of failure with each solution.

Jun 29, 2024 · I used this cable to sync two Tascam DM4800's together. Both mixers basically sync every function with this cable. The busses sync. Meaning you can plug up 48 mics or line inputs and have 24 buss inputs. If you "unsync" the busses you can have as many busses as 48 if your convertor has that many.
