Jun 4, 2024 · I'm not sure if this will fix all your problems but it should stabilise the tape speed if the rubber (of the roller) is not slick but rather grips well. Try this first: examine visually and with your finger if the rubber on the roller is hard or sticky.

Jun 22, 2024 · The DR-40X is connected on the Record out on the mixer by RCA and then the RCA turns into a XLR. The XLR for each L/R speaker connect to each appropriate side. No idea what would be causing this. You must log in or register to reply here. After awhile of trail and error i figured out how to record mixes on this.

Jun 5, 2024 · Set the record level fairly low and use the line setting, and adjust gain on the Tascam rather than on the BMPCC to get the signal to a good level. I've used that approach and it's worked pretty well for me.
