When Dude Where's My Car came out I read 10 reviews and 9 of them said it was the worst movie they ever saw. Not just bad - the worst they ever saw. Nine out of ten. I forget what the tenth one said. Anyway that just made me more curious.

Sep 26, 2019 · My dad is the kind of guy who only watches Andy Griffith and the Weather Channel. I bet he has seen less then a dozen movies on his entire life, and couldn't name them if he had too. However we somehow got him to watch this when it was first released on VHS. He literally laughed until he cried at this scene.

In no way is a bunch of historical icons in a phone booth traveling through time while saying dude a "smart" movie. It is a stupid movie, it knows it's a stupid movie, and at some point they decided to take that stupidity all the way enabling it to become a stupid awesome movie .
