This setting in Windows 11 is at Windows Settings > Apps > Advanced App Settings > Choose Where to get apps > Anywhere. If that's already set then you may have bought a PC that has S mode, which only allows Store apps to be installed.

Aug 4, 2015 · To resolve the issue I would suggest two methods: Method 1: Insert the installation USB and boot Windows 10 from it. In the ‘Windows setup’ page select the ‘language to install’, ‘Time and currency format’ and the ‘keyboard or input method’ and click on ‘next’. Click on ‘Repair your computer’ and select ‘Troubleshoot’.

I built a gaming PC that is Win11 compatible: Ryzen 9 3900 CPU; MSI B550 Gaming Carbon Mobo; 2x M2 NVMe drives. 64 GB DDR4. After completing the build, I went into BIOS and initialized/enabled TPM. UEFI is enabled.
Aug 13, 2023 · The NVME drive must be made a GPT (GUID Partition Table) drive for it to be bootable and the Windows installation media must also be installed as "UEFI" with a UEFI bootable Flash drive.. A "MBR" type drive will not work when using a NVME or UEFI Bios in general.. Your SATA drives probably need to be set as "AHCI" drives in the Bios if not ...
